Terms of use for www.mpe.ro: who operates it, what you may reuse from the content and under what conditions, the limits of liability, and the applicable law.

1. Who operates this website

www.mpe.ro is owned and operated by Asociația „Mereu pentru Europa” (Forever for Europe Association), a Romanian non-profit legal entity, fiscal identification code RO17954350, registered under no. 43/09.09.2005 in the Register of Associations and Foundations, with its registered office at Str. Grigore Pleșoianu 2, bl. 1, sc. 1, et. 1, ap. 3, 200457 Craiova, Dolj County, Romania.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing and using this website you accept the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

3. Purpose of the website

www.mpe.ro is an information website. It presents the association’s activity, the projects we implement, educational resources, and information about European Union opportunities and policies, including in our capacity as host of the Europe Direct Craiova centre.

The website does not sell products or services and does not process online payments.

4. The informational nature of the content

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published is accurate and current, but:

• information about funding programmes, calls, deadlines and eligibility conditions is indicative; the official and binding source remains the documentation published by the relevant managing authority or European institution;
• the content does not constitute legal, tax, financial or medical advice and cannot replace consulting a specialist;
• information about ongoing projects reflects the position at the date of publication and may change.

Before making a decision based on information found on this website, verify the official sources indicated.

5. Intellectual property rights

5.1. Our own content

Texts, educational materials, photographs and graphic elements created by the Forever for Europe Association are protected by Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights.

You may freely reproduce and redistribute the informational content of this website for non-commercial, educational or public information purposes, subject to the following conditions: the source is credited (“Asociația Mereu pentru Europa – www.mpe.ro”), the original meaning is preserved, and any modifications are indicated.

5.2. Trademarks, emblems and visual identity

The name and logo of the Forever for Europe Association belong to the association. The emblem of the European Union, the Europe Direct logo and the logos of the funding programmes belong to the issuing institutions and may be used exclusively under the conditions established by them. Their presence on this website confers no right of use on you.

5.3. Third-party content

Certain materials originate from European institutions or from our partners and remain subject to the reuse conditions established by them.

6. Statement on European funding

Part of the content of this website is produced within projects co-financed by the European Union. The content is the sole responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily reflect the official position of the European Union or of the managing authorities.

7. Use of the contact form

The contact form may be used for enquiries relating to the association’s activity. You undertake not to transmit through it: unlawful, offensive or discriminatory content; unsolicited commercial messages; personal data of other persons without a lawful basis; files or links capable of affecting the security of our systems.

We reserve the right not to respond to messages that breach these rules.

8. Availability of the website

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website permanently available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or technical reasons beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw the content of the website, in whole or in part, without prior notice.

9. Links to other websites

The website contains links to the websites of European institutions, public authorities and our partners. We do not control their content and assume no responsibility for their information, products or practices. You access them at your own risk.

To the extent permitted by law, the Forever for Europe Association is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website, from decisions taken solely on the basis of the information published here, or from technical interruptions of the service.

This limitation does not exclude liability for acts committed intentionally or through gross negligence, nor any rights that the law grants you on a mandatory basis.

11. Protection of personal data

The way we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy. Both form an integral part of these terms.

12. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be settled amicably and, failing agreement, by the competent courts at the association’s registered office.

We may update these terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of access, and the date of the last update is shown at the top.
