Accreditations
- Authorised adult vocational training provider, accredited under Government Ordinance 129/2000. We issue qualification and specialisation certificates through the National Authority for Qualifications (ANC), jointly recognised by the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Education and valid across the European Union.
- Accredited career guidance and psycho-pedagogical counselling services since 2010, through the County Employment Agency (AJOFM).
- Host of Europe Direct Craiova, an official information centre of the European Commission, since 2008 — currently in its sixth consecutive funding cycle.
Where we work
Our base is Craiova, Dolj County, in the South-West Oltenia region — classified as a less developed region under EU cohesion policy. We also operate in the Romania–Bulgaria cross-border area (Dolj–Vidin–Montana) through Interreg programmes.
South-West Oltenia is not an easy operating environment, and that is the point. Around 45% of the region’s working-age population has no qualification or a low level of qualification, adult participation in continuing training is among the lowest in Europe, and early school leaving exceeds the national average. Partners who want measurable social impact in a genuinely disadvantaged European region will find the conditions here.
Team and capacity
The association has 14 active members and works with a wider pool of trainers, counsellors, medical professionals and project management specialists contracted per project. Our core staff are graduates of European project management master’s programmes, teachers and authorised trainers.
We work bilingually in Romanian and English, and have delivered project documentation, reporting and communication in English in Interreg and Erasmus+ contexts since 2014.
Governance and transparency
All our projects are audited and reported to the relevant managing authorities. We apply the same reporting standards to private-sector partnerships. Financial statements and activity reports are filed annually in accordance with Romanian law and are available to partners on request at mpe@mpe.ro.
